There is no greater loss to a community than the squandered potential of its children. The Sequoia Odyssey School believes that some children need a fully immersive educational environment to maximize their chances for success. Many modern families have neither the time nor the resources to provide what their children need to succeed. We believe a Charter School modeled after private boarding schools will allow for the most effective delivery of the services that students need to prepare for a professional career and social advancement.

The Sequoia Odyssey School is founded on the following beliefs.

  • Each child has a right to a learning environment that is safe and structured as well as exciting and engaging. A child who wants to learn can accomplish anything in the right setting.
  • Lifetime learners are built not born.
  • Maximum achievement grows best in an environment of clear rules and consequences
  • Three years tuition at the most expensive private boarding schools is less than the cost of one year in prison.
  • A pastoral locale is the least expensive place to raise a child.
