-Founder’s Circle-
The Founder’s Circle is the name of our 450 seat outdoor amphitheater.
It is constructed of local materials and is completely encircled by a living fence of espaliered orange trees. It serves the
school for student performances, assemblies, promotion ceremonies, Ranger Council meetings and, weather permitting, as a pretty
pleasant place to picnic or read a book.
Charitable donations in excess of $25,000 grant the donor the right
to be memorialized in the Founder’s Circle and its park-like setting.
For donations in excess of:
$25,000 – 1’ square bronze plaque designed by donor, or
donor group, installed on capstone at the base of one of the espaliered orange trees that surround the Founder’s Circle
amphitheater.
$50,000 - ½ life size bronze statue, cast in image determined by donor,
or donor group, 1’ square bronze plaque designed by donor, or donor group, installed on capstone at the base. Statues
are installed on the inside of the espaliered orange trees that encircle the amphitheater.
Extremely generous donations can significantly improve the experience
of the students, faculty and staff of the Sequoia Odyssey School. As such, large gifts warrant greater gratitude. Tributes
to donors, or donor groups, of more than $100,000 can include secluded grottoes, fountain gardens, ‘hidden’ chambers
and passageways as well as rest and recreation areas. Each includes full-sized statuary of up to three adults, children or
animals and a 3’ square bronze plaque, designed by the donor, or donor group. In addition, donors are awarded the right
to name the tribute site as well as assist in its placement and design.
